Alicia Simmons, who lives in the apartment where the valve broke, was informed by the fire department that her place is now uninhabitable. She expressed her frustration as the management at the apartment has failed to offer alternative housing or any viable solutions. "What else can a mother do when she's in such a helpless situation and can't take care of her babies due to something she had no part in?
