Key Job Description

▸ Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.

▸ Assist with client mobility and transfers, including lifting when necessary.

▸ Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.

▸ Administer medications and monitor client health status according to the care plan.

▸ Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.

▸ Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light household chores.

▸ Document daily care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate parties.

▸ Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans.

Professional Requirements

▸ Experience in nursing or a related field such as hospice or group home preferred.

▸ Knowledge of first aid practices preferred.

▸ Ability to safely lift clients and assist with mobility.

▸ Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.

▸ Compassionate and genuine desire to help others.

▸ Knowledge of memory care techniques to aid in working with clients with cognitive decline.

▸ Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.

▸ Having a nursing or related training certificate is advantageous but not required.
