Main Job Description

▸ Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.

▸ Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including lifting when necessary.

▸ Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.

▸ Administer medications and monitor client health according to care plan.

▸ Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.

▸ Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light household tasks.

▸ Document daily care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate parties.

▸ Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans.

▸ Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance client quality of life.

Qualifications

▸ Experience in nursing or related fields such as hospice or group homes preferred.

▸ Knowledge of first aid practices preferred.

▸ Ability to safely lift clients and assist with mobility needs.

▸ Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.

▸ Compassionate and a genuine desire to help others.

▸ Knowledge of memory care techniques helpful in working with clients with cognitive decline.

▸ Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.

▸ Possession of nursing or related training certification is advantageous but not required.
