How One Nonprofit Brings Christmas Cheer to TN Foster Kids

Instructions

Jordyn Clark from Gallatin, Tennessee, is on a remarkable mission to bring joy and hope to foster children during the holidays. Since 2020, she has been fulfilling the Christmas wishes of hundreds of these kids across the state. With the support of the community, she is now gearing up to provide gifts to over 400 children this year.

Bringing Christmas Cheer to Foster Kids Through Fostering Hope

Expanding the Reach

This December, Jordyn has added several counties to her list, including Davidson, Wilson, Robertson, Montgomery, and Coffee counties. She is also including children in East Tennessee who have been displaced by Hurricane Helene. By doing so, she is ensuring that no child is left behind during the holiday season.

Each child will have the opportunity to list something they want, something they need, something to wear, and something to read. These simple gestures can make a world of difference in a child's life.

Jordyn understands that these kids do not choose to be in foster care and deserve to be happy. During the holidays, they deserve a little hope, and that is exactly what she is providing.

Involvement Opportunities

If you want to get involved, you can pick up a wishlist at Studio 1:9 Salon in Gallatin. You can select a physical wishlist and bring the gifts to the salon in person, which will go to local children. Alternatively, you can select an Amazon wishlist obtained through a QR code to fulfill the wishes of children displaced by Hurricane Helene.

You have the chance to make a real impact between now and December 13. Learn more about how you can get involved on the nonprofit's website.

Jordyn's work is a shining example of how we can come together as a community to make a difference in the lives of others. By supporting her mission, we are giving foster children the gift of hope and happiness.
